Genoa Schools Alert: Due to early morning fog the district will be on a 2 hour delay today, Wednesday, September 17. Thank you.

Six students were chosen by coaches, counselors, and administrators to represent Genoa High School at the first ever NBC Leadership Team meeting. This group was created to foster student leadership while promoting sportsmanship and healthy competition across the league.

Genoa High School representatives are:
Rilee Popovich, Braden Lesher, Isaiah Pickett, Kylee Snyder, Tommy Braun, and Lucy Schlageter.

Today, we pause to remember September 11, 2001. We honor the lives lost, the bravery of first responders, and the resilience that brought our nation together in the days that followed. As a school community, we recognize the importance of remembering this history and teaching future generations about the strength found in unity, courage, and compassion.

It’s a beautiful day here in Comet Nation! Our Marching Band, under the direction of Mrs. Stephanie Brower, was out on the field practicing and filling the air with music. Nothing says Comet Community like blue skies, sunshine, and the sound of our band! #CometPride

During Wednesday’s Engagement Time, Genoa Middle School students headed outside for team-building activities and a water balloon challenge. Grade level duos worked together to see who could outlast the rest! After the fun, Mr. Haas and staff wrapped things up with a conversation about rules, expectations, and what it means to be part of our Middle School community.

Day One is in the books, and what a start! It was energizing to see our campus full again, Students ready to learn, Staff prepared to lead, and our Community standing behind us. With this team, we’re set for a fantastic year! #CometCommunity
